Dear Mr. Franklin,

It was a pleasure meeting you yesterday. You may remember that I am the gentleman you ferried back and forth from downtown while my car was being serviced.
I am writing tp let you know that I appreciated visiting with you and listening to your stories about Newfoundland, your Constellation flight out of Birmingham many years ago, your childhood in Chilton County in the 1930's and 1940's and your many, many fascinating experiences. I also very much appreciated your safe driving in rather treacherous road conditions.
As a matter of habit, I decided many years ago not to have my car serviced at dealerships because i found them to be overpriced and impersonal. I only visited King Acura yesterday because of some recall/warranty work that needed to be done to my car. I want you to know that you single-handedly changed my opinion of at least one dealership.
